How To Generate More Power Into Your Punch  
 


Key Points:
  • Don't think of the jab/cross as two separate moves.
  • When your left hand is returning from the jab... initiate your right cross.
  • Pivot on your rear right foot (the ball) when performing a right cross... this allows your hips and shoulder to rotate forward generating more power.
  • When doing a left hook to the head, pivot on the ball of your front left foot to get much more power.
